Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Wednesday, the first of June, Captain Saleh Salim bin Nahid, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology and his technical advisor, Engineer Abdullah Saleh Al Shabibi.

 In the meeting, the President of the Association was briefed on the work of the Civil Aviation Authority's activity and the ways to promote and care for the development of international airports, reopening Al-Rayyan Airport, and procedures for improving and upgrading Aden International Airport services.

  Major General Bin Brik praised the work of the Civil Aviation Authority, pointing to the need to pay attention to airports, upgrade their work, and reopen closed to travelers in order to alleviate their suffering and facilitate their movement internally and externally, on the one hand, and open up prospects for cooperation with neighboring countries, on the other hand, stressing  The opening of the airports will contribute mainly to providing the country economically, which in turn will reflect on the living situation of the country.
