Major General Ben Brik meets the President of the National Society for Scientific Research

Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Thursday, June 9, with Dr. Thabet Salem Al-Azab, President of the National Society for Scientific Research.
 In the meeting, which included Dr. Anis Luqman, Vice President of the Society, Dr.  Thabet Al-Azab, the work activity of the National Society specialized in scientific research and rehabilitation and training of young people in the fields of scientific research, pointing to the imminent holding of a training course on the organic fertilizer industry, which will target, as a first stage, 80 agricultural cadres of farmers in the Abyan Delta of both sexes, in the field of manufacturing safe agriculture fertilizer  In the local roads in the delta, with the aim of forming an essential step in replacing chemical fertilizers and reducing the use of pesticides that have serious damage to the soil, ground water, animals and the health of citizens, as well as to the economy of the south, in general, stressing that organic fertilizers have benefits, including cleanliness of the environment and reducing risks.  For human health, Abyan is the food basket of the capital, Aden.
 Dr. pointed out.  Thabet Al-Azab, to the existence of a preparatory committee in the process of preparing a guide for home farming in order to secure food security and avoid harmful pesticides, stressing that the strategic goal is to achieve food security, as part of the country's national security system.
 Major General Bin Brik praised the Society's activity and efforts to preserve food security and protect the environment by reducing chemical fertilization and recycling organic waste, noting that the Southern Transitional Council encourages and supports such effective activities that preserve the health of society.
 The meeting was attended by Counselor Maarouf Ibrahim Oqba, Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Society for Scientific Research, Eng. Fayyad Faisal, Secretary of its Foreign Relations Committee, and Colonel Najm Abdullah, Security Officer in the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council.
