Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Sunday, June 12, Lieutenant-General Saif Saleh Mohsen Al-Dhaei, Deputy Chief of General Staff.
In the meeting, they discussed the situation of the military in the southern governorates and the reactivation of work in the departments of the Ministry of Defense in order to return a large sector of security and military leaders to carry out their duties according to their specializations in Aden and the rest of the southern governorates in general.
The meeting also reviewed the military situation on the fronts, particularly the fronts of Al-Dhalea, Al-Hidd, Karsh and Al-Musaimir, and the need to keep the forces on high alert while securing them with all capabilities to withstand the Houthi coup forces.
The meeting touched on the Riyadh agreement and consultations and the resulting developments and changes that affected the course of events in the south in general.
The meeting also stressed the necessity of the cohesion and unity of the southern ranks to get out of the twists and turns and the current crises that the south is going through in various fields.
