On Monday, June 13, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, discussed with the heads of departments of the Ministry of Defense, in the presence of Major General Saleh Ali Hassan, head of the Joint Operations Authority, the military and political situation and the situation of the Ministry of Defense and its affiliated forces, noting the necessity of  Work in a team spirit to improve the position of the Ministry and its affiliated units, in order to protect and defend the country.

 The meeting also touched on the agreement and consultations in Riyadh and the discussions that took place on this aspect and the positive results that were in the interest of activating and developing the role of the Ministry of Defense departments.

 The meeting stressed the need for intensification and unity of the southern ranks, as well as the arrangement of the inner house to overcome this difficult stage that the south is going through.

  At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees stressed the need to revive the military departments and institutions and restore consideration to them after they lost their prestige over the past years of the ongoing war.

 The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Ali Saif Al-Qatawi, Director of the Infantry Department, Brigadier General Muhammad Salem Al-Wahaishi, Director of the Military Communications Department, Brigadier General Fadl Muhammad Obaid Gharamah, Director of the Department of Military Works, Brigadier General Saad Rajeh, Director of Military Industrialization and Brigadier General Abdullatif Muhammad Al-Subai, Commander of the Training Brigade  and Brigadier General Ahmed Salem Al-Wadi, Director of the General Armament Department, Brigadier General Fadl Mashhour Al-Saadi, Director of the Central Military Reform Department, and Brigadier General Shams Al-Din Bekele, Director of the Technical Insurance Department.
