On Sunday, June 19, the Department of Studies and Research in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, represented by the head of the department, Dr. Muhammad Jaafar bin al-Sheikh Abu Bakr, carried out a field visit to the College of Information at the University of Aden.

 On the visit, which was accompanied by Professor Maryam Al-Afeef, Vice President of the Department, Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasser met with Dr. Muhammad Ali Nasser, Dean of the College of Information, and Dr. Saddam Abdullah, Vice Dean of the College of Information for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, where he discussed with them ways of joint cooperation between the Department and the College of Information in the field of research.  Scientific, which would simulate reality and its requirements.

 In the meeting, the department was briefed on the efforts made by the Mass Communication College in the field of studies and research. The meeting also touched on the needs of the Mass Communication College in its research courses and workshops.

 In the same context, the Department of Studies and Research visited the Women’s Research Center at the University of Aden, where they were received by Dr. Huda Alawi, head of the center, from whom they were briefed on the research tasks carried out by the center.
