5 soldiers were killed and others from the Shabwa Defense Forces were killed while responding to a terrorist attack that targeted a security point at the eastern entrance to Ataq city at dawn on Wednesday, June 22nd.

 The heroes of the Shabwa Defense Forces were able to kill a number of terrorist elements who attacked the security point.

 This treacherous terrorist operation comes after extensive media campaigns targeting the Shabwa Defense Forces and the Southern Giants Forces launched by activists and media kitchens affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, which coincided with the deployment of southern forces to protect and secure oil wells and fields in Shabwa Governorate.

 This operation is the fourth terrorist operation in a month that targeted the Shabwa Defense Forces and the Southern Giants Forces.
