President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, head of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Thursday, June 23, members of the National Assembly of the Council in Al-Mahra Governorate, who are participating in the fifth session of the Assembly, which concluded its work yesterday, Wednesday.

 During the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Saeed Saadan, a member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Dr. Salem Ali Al-Qumairi, head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership in Al-Mahra Governorate, and his deputy, Mr. Hassan Mahdi Balhaf, among those present, he was briefed on the overall situation in Al-Mahra Governorate, foremost of which are the military and security conditions.  And humanity, and the problems and difficulties facing the people of the province in all fields.

 President Al-Zubaidi also listened to a brief explanation of the activities of the local leadership in the governorate and districts, its achievements during the last period, and the plans and programs to be implemented during the second half of this year 2022 AD.

 The President urged the leaders of the council and members of the association in Al-Mahra to get closer to the citizens and perceive their concerns and problems, stressing the need for the activities implemented by local leaders to contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens in the governorate in general, and in remote and desert districts that lack the most basic necessities of life in particular.

 The President noted the importance of focusing on the youth segment and giving it full attention, through intensifying training and rehabilitation programs to enhance their capabilities and capabilities, so that they are ready to assume the responsibility of building and protecting the desired southern state.

 In the context of his speech, President Al-Zubaidi touched on the great importance that Al-Mahra governorate represents in the southern national project, stressing that the great sacrifices made by the people of Al-Mahra governorate in the march of the southern liberation revolution will remain a source of pride for every southerner.

 For their part, the attendees expressed their thanks and gratitude to President Al-Zubaidi for giving them the opportunity to review the concerns and problems of the people of Mahra, praising his constant keenness to support the people of the province to overcome the problems and dilemmas facing them in all fields.
