Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Thursday, June 23, Judge Ahmed Omar Bamatrif, Vice President of the Supreme Court.

 At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Dr.  Asmahan bin Brik, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Aden, member of the Board of Directors of the Higher Judicial Institute, Judge Ahmed Bamatrif congratulated Major General bin Brik on the success of the fifth session of the National Assembly and the final statement issued by it, which will contribute to changing the course of events and fulfilling citizens' requirements for basic and other services  .

 The meeting also discussed the situation of the judiciary and the crisis that the judiciary is going through and ways to solve it and reform the judicial system, with the aim of creating an independent, strong and just judiciary that performs its constitutional and legal duties to the fullest and contributes to reforming the crises that the southern governorates suffer from in various fields, leading to the consolidation of the sovereignty of  The law, spreading justice among citizens, combating criminal incidents, and achieving security and safety in the country.

 The meeting also touched on the situation in Hadhramaut in particular and the crises that the governorate is going through in particular and the south in general.  The meeting also reviewed the latest political and economic events and their repercussions on the general situation of the country.
