The Presidency of the Transitional Council affirms its adherence to the existence of real guarantees obligating the Houthi militias to implement the terms of the armistice

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic  meeting on Saturday, October 1, headed by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting President of the Council, President of the National Assembly.
The Presidency has begun its meeting by reviewing the latest developments on the local and regional arenas, foremost of which are the efforts made by the international community to extend the UN armistice, which ends tomorrow, Sunday, October 2, stressing in this regard, its adherence to the existence of real guarantees that obligate the Houthi militias to implement the conditions and determinants of the armistice and to stop their repeated violations, which was the latest of them the criminal act that claimed the lives of three martyrs and a number of wounded from our southern armed forces while performing their duty in Yafa axis, and also stressed the importance of implementing the pre-conditions of the armistice, and setting real guarantees for any subsequent agreements.
In another context, the Presidency, in its meeting, which was attended by a number of council ministers in the parity government, reiterated the importance of enabling the people of Hadhramout to manage the affairs of their governorate in various fields, and their right to benefit from its wealth, secure it, and protect it away from the interference of any political forces. As well as its support for the legitimate demands of the mass crowds that came out in Hadhramout Valley to demand the completion of the Riyadh Agreement and the removal of the Yemeni forces present in the valley areas and transferring them to the fronts of confrontation with the Houthi militia.
The Presidency has also expressed its rejection of the actions of some ministers of the parity government, including unilateral inaugurations in important positions, stressing that any inaugurations outside the consensus are considered illegal, and can't be dealt with in any way.
In its meeting, the Presidency has urged the security services to be vigilant and fully prepared to confront conspiracies targeting public peace, security and stability in the capital, Aden, calling on the leaders of all military and security forces to make more efforts to consolidate security and stability and thwart all terrorist schemes targeting the capital, Aden in particular and the south in general.
At the end of the meeting, the Presidency has stood before a number of issues on its agenda and took appropriate measures in their regard.
