President Al-Zubaidi Praises China's Role and Efforts to Establish Peace in Middle East

President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, dupety-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received, on Monday, HE Zhao Cheng, Acting Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Yemen.
 The meeting discussed developments in the political and humanitarian situation in our country, and the political efforts led by the regional and international communities to end the war in Yemen and establish peace and restore stability to the region in general.
 During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi Praises praises the Chinese role in mediating peace agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran, noting that the agreement mediated by Beijing represents a key to resolving most issues in the region, foremost of which is the conflict in Yemen.
 The meeting also discussed possible scenarios in our country in light of the intensive efforts to reach an agreement that ends the war and establishes a comprehensive political process that works to solve all issues and establishes a just and sustainable peace. In this context, President Al-Zubaidi stressed that the issue of the people of the south comes at the forefront of national issues and its a basis for a comprehensive solution, by setting a special framework for it in the comprehensive peace process that will be sponsored by the United Nations.
 For his part, the Acting Ambassador of the People's Republic of China affirmed his country's keenness to exert more efforts to enhance dialogue among the countries of the Middle East region, reiterating his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the parity government and for the efforts of the United Nations Secretary-General's envoy to Yemen aimed at ending the conflict and bringing peace to the country, which was destroyed by the war, noting China's readiness to provide all aspects of support for reconstruction and launching the comprehensive development process in the country.
 The meeting was attended by Imad Mohammad, Director of the Office of the dupety chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Saleh Al-Qaiti, Advisor to the dupety chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
