STC Representative Meets with Former Kuwaiti PM's Special Secretary

Mr. Yahya Al-Yazidi, the representative of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) to the brotherly state of Kuwait, met on Wednesday with Mr. Ahmad Abdul Karim Al-Arab, the special secretary to former Kuwaiti Prime Minister HH Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and deputy director-general of Al-Mabarrah, the late Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah Foundation.


The meeting focused on the worsening economic crisis in the governorates of the South and its impact on humanitarian conditions, as well as the latest developments related to the UN and regional efforts to end the war and bring about peace in the South, Yemen, and the region.


During the meeting, Mr. Al-Yazidi recalled the deep-rooted and brotherly historic relations between the South and Kuwait, lauding Kuwait's stances in supporting the South in various fields, especially education and health, and praising Kuwait’s noble humanitarian principle in providing support to brothers and friends.


The representative also touched on the escalating terrorist acts of the Houthi militia in the Red Sea, their targeting of commercial vessels and international maritime navigation, and the grave threats they pose to regional and international security and stability, reiterating the STC's support for the international community in confronting the threat of the terrorism of the Houthi militia and terrorist groups.
