The National Southern Media Authority (NSMA), assisting the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), held its weekly meeting on Tuesday, headed by Mr. Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, head of the NSMA and official spokesman of the STC.

The meeting was dedicated to discussing the latest political and security developments, as well as media coverage of these developments amid the exceptional challenges facing the South and the region.

In its meeting, the authority called for increased efforts to counter the threat of Houthi infiltration and terrorist acts, which clearly demonstrate the Houthis' collusion with terrorist groups.

The authority highlighted that media members in the South have a duty to stand united against rumors and incitement campaigns, working to debunk their dubious sources and motives, which aim to undermine the political, military, and security gains of the South.

The authority commended the unwavering national stances of the Southern Armed Forces and security services as they stand tall at the frontlines, confronting terrorist forces, and ultimately sacrificing their precious souls to defend the South, its security, and stability.

At the end of its meeting, the authority stood before a range of media-related topics and issues and took appropriate actions and measures.
