Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank), signed with Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Qubati, Head of the Customs Authority, today, Monday in Aden, a joint agreement stipulating that CAC Bank will provide modern electronic banking services to the Authority, and link its system to the bank’s system to enable and facilitate the process of paying customs and tax duties using the bank’s modern and advanced digital systems, which will provide the taxpayer with the ability to pay his customs obligations from the mobile phone and via CAC Banking application, at any time and around the clock.
This signing comes after the process of assigning a specialized team from both parties to complete the secure electronic linking process between the two systems, while the service will be launched in the near future.
Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank, Mr. Hashid Al-Hamdani, confirmed that the bank provides modern, advanced and multi-faceted banking services, including electronic collection and payment services through the bank’s electronic systems and applications and its various branches, which facilitates the collection process in easy, smooth and safe ways for all segments of society. It saves effort and time.
Pointing out that “CAC Banki” application enables its subscribers to pay their obligations to the entities dealing with the bank via their mobile phone devices, by deducting from the bank account linked to the application with complete ease, speed and security.
For his part, the head of the Customs Authority, Mr. Abdul Hakim Al-Qubati, praised the banking services provided by CAC Bank, as a leading government bank in its advanced banking services.
He expressed his happiness at signing the joint cooperation agreement with the bank to serve the Authority and develop work to facilitate the task of taxpayers in paying their obligations to the Authority.
