The Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank (CAC Bank) participated in the work of the Arab Forum for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, in its twelfth session entitled (Sustainable Prosperity, Redrawing the Roadmap for a Balanced Future), which is being held in the United Arab Emirates.

The forum, which will be held during October 9-10 in Dubai, discusses a number of issues in two sessions. The first session is about enabling change: promoting transformation in the water and energy sector in the Arab world, which discusses the most effective strategies for moving from fossil fuels to clean energy sources, and successful management practices for integrated water, and how to achieve regional cooperation for water systems throughout the Arab countries.

The second session is devoted to fortifying and protecting the world’s cities from future challenges: preparing for disasters, and discusses sustainable building policies, how to enhance preparedness to confront disasters, and how to harmonize them.

Al-Hamdani expressed the importance of CAC Bank’s participation in the forum, given that the Arab region stands in a pivotal position in facing the escalating climate and development challenges, where cooperative strategies and innovative solutions are necessary to secure a strong future for future generations.

Al-Hamdani said that renewal is essential for adapting to climate change, with the aim of restoring ecosystems and societies to a healthier state, by integrating nature-based solutions and sustainable practices for disaster recovery and risk management.
