The Administrative Body of the Council of Advisors (CoA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting in October 2024 in the capital, Aden, on Tuesday, chaired by Mr. Ahmad al-Rabizi, Deputy Chairman of the CoA.

In the beginning of the meeting, the body lauded the grand success of the mass rallies held in the governorates of Hadramaut and Almahra to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the Glorious 14th of October Revolution and concluded that the broad popular participation reflected a spirit of belonging and pride in the Southern identity.

In its meeting, the body discussed a proposal to hold a commemoration event on November 30th in Shabwa Governorate. In addition to reviewing the latest developments in governorates of the South and the sharp collapse of the local currency, as it has led to worsening economic and living conditions for citizens amid a lack of effective solutions from officials and relevant authorities.

Furthermore, the meeting focused on a report on the political landscape presented by the head of the Political Committee, Dr. Mohammed Bawazir, which reaffirmed that the themed "Southern Identity" million-person event and October activities in all governorates of the South expressed the autonomy of the national identity of the people of the South. These celebrative events also conveyed clear messages to the world, showcasing the popular support for the STC and its weightiness as the primary representative of the cause of the people of the South.

At the end of its meeting, the body reviewed a comprehensive report on the celebratory events marking the 61st anniversary of the 14th October glorious revolution and its media coverage. The report was presented by the head of the Cultural and Media Committee, Dr. Masoud Amshush, as well as the results of the visit of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and his direct engagement with international decision-makers in rallying international support for the cause of the South. The body also touched on various jurisdictions of its committees, reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting after taking into account the raised remarks.
