Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula has issued a statement announcing the execution of journalist Mohammed Al-Muqri and 10 individuals who were held hostage by the organization.

Martyr Al-Muqri was kidnapped in the city of Mukalla, in Hadramaut Governorate, in 2016, as part of a series of arrests carried out by the group in areas it controlled at that time. This suggests that most of the executed hostages were from Hadramaut.

This crime serves as a reaffirmation of the group's approach in targeting innocent people and journalists, who represent the voice of truth in the face of extremism and terrorism.
