The Studies, Research and Training Committee of the Southern Transitional Council launches the training course on "Preparing and Writing Political Papers and Reports"

 The Study, Research and Training Committee of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council launched today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, the intensive training course for members of the society in preparing, methodology and analysis of political papers and reports.
 Dr. Anis Luqman, Vice President of the National Assembly delivered a speech at the opening of the session, conveying to the attendees the greetings of the President, Commander Aidorus Qassem Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Transitional Council, and Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Braik, President of the National Assembly, noting that this session is the first held by the National Assembly in the field of  Writing papers and political reports and analyzing them for political decision-making.
 Luqman explained that "the importance of this session is that it comes in the current situation surrounding us, and as a result of the political circumstance in which we bear responsibility for our land and our people," stressing that this session will be followed by other sessions targeting all members of the National Assembly in all governorates, wishing success to the participants.
 Dr. Fadl Al-Rubaie opened the session with a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, in which he said: “This session comes within the framework of the Committee for Research, Studies and Training, which aims to develop political, legislative and oversight skills and deal with crises for members of the National Assembly in the various governorates in which there will be other sessions.  Similar to this cycle. "
 Al-Rubaie pointed out that "this session is primarily political, as the political scene is at the forefront of all the activities of the Council at the present time, and our mission is mainly political, as reality needs real political awareness, and a political mentality that stimulates thought and develops visions for political phenomena and analyzes the political event to enable decision-makers."  Take their decisions in accordance with the political methodology of that political analysis.
 The session included a brainstorm in which the participants reviewed their visions of the most prominent political issues on the arena, or those related to the political side, and how to deal with concepts and the political realism of these issues, in addition to defining the politician, who is a successful politician and what his characteristics are.
 The international trainer, Dr. Abd Rabbo Muhammad Omar, gave the session's first lecture, detailing the political papers, their importance and need for them, as well as the aspects related to writing the political report, such as writing the report, endowment signs, paper language, its structure and other characteristics of the report, as well as methods of preparing policy papers and the basic elements associated with them.  With political working papers.
 Dr. Abd Rabbo reviewed methods of policy analysis, approaches to it, types and methodological steps, in addition to a detailed explanation of evidence, types, form and use, comparison between descriptive and analytical writing, formulation of recommendations, identification of options and conclusion, decision-making according to data and a survey, and notes for writing a policy paper.
 In the second lecture, Dr. Fadl Al-Rubaie dealt with an introduction to the concept of politics and public policies, including in his explanation the definition of what politics and public policies are, their concepts, objectives and the difference between them, in addition to the emergence of politics, the science of public policy, policy contents and development, the relationship between politics and power, the decision-making process, and the characteristics of public policy.
 It is worth noting that this session, which is held during the period 11-13 October 2020 AD, is attended by 40 members of the National Assembly from its various committees operating in the capital, Aden.
