The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the Executive Authority of the Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, Eng. Nizar Nasser Haitham, met today, Tuesday, with the syndicate of General Electricity Corporation in Aden the capital.
Haitham, listened from the members of the Electricity Syndicate to explanation of their human rights demands from the corporation and the difficulties and challenges that face the progress of their work in electricity facilities in the capital, Aden.
During the meeting, the syndicate members presented a brief explanation of the state of the generating stations and the general deficit that the capital, Aden and the neighboring governorates need from electricity, the available stock of fuel, spare parts for generators and electrical transformers.
During the meeting, Haitham praised the great service that electricians provide to citizens through the continuation of electricity generation, even at a minimum level, despite the challenges and obstacles set by the influential who fight citizens through their livelihood and try to cut off basic services from them.
Haitham stressed that the Southern Transitional Council will spare no effort in its war against the corrupt and those who make the citizens part of their political war, and will work in partnership with the southern union federations, both in an annex, to fight corruption and to provide a decent life for workers and services for citizens.
