Major General Bin Brik meets with dignitaries and social figures from Al-Awathil tribes from Abyan governorate

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, met on Sunday, in his office at the Assembly's headquarters with a number of social figures and dignitaries in the Abyan governorate, led by Sheikh Al-Awathil Nasser Mohammad Ja'bal, head of the Al-Awathil Tribes Alliance.
In the meeting, Major General Bin Brik welcomed all the attendees, and reviewed with them the latest developments in the general political situation in the South in particular, and the region in general, and the unremitting efforts of the Southern Transitional Council, headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, to enhance internal security and stability and achieve the desired goal in restoring the southern state to before May 21, 1990.
Bin Brik also presented to them a brief explanation of the conspiracies against our beloved South from all sides and the forces hostile to it.
The Chairman of the Assembly added: "We, in the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, are still extending our hands to all our southern brothers through southern consultations and dialogue with all components, parties and southern parties."
Major General Bin Brik stressed the importance of unifying the southern ranks and adhering to national cohesion, in order to confront all those conspiracies being hatched against the south, and to raise awareness and high vigilance among citizens in the governorates of the south against all rumors and gossip circulating on social media, which would weaken and split the southern row, as well as the destabilization of the national faith in the restoration of the southern state, which is drawing near.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Assembly listened from the attendees to a full explanation of the general situation in Abyan governorate in general and Lauder district in particular, and the security chaos it suffers from and a noticeable deterioration in public services, including the health, electricity, water and education sectors, which have recently reached rock bottom.
At the end of the meeting, the attendees affirmed to Major General Bin Brik their renewal of the covenant and their support for the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council in restoring the southern state with its full sovereignty.
