Chairman of National Assembly meets with founders of Southern Women's Union and leaders, members and activists of civil society organizations

The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, met on Monday, with a number of founders of the Southern Women's Union, and leaders, members, and activists in civil society organizations.
The meeting was attended by lawyer Niran Sooki, member of the Presidency, Vice-Chairman of the National Assembly, in which Major General Bin Brik welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in the role played by members and leaders of civil society organizations and southern activists in facing all the challenges facing the country.
The Chairman of the National Assembly pointed out that the south today is in dire need of the solidarity of its people and strengthening the cohesion among them in various fields, and to rally around our southern cause in order to reach safety and achieve what we seek as southerners, no matter how different opinions, components and parties differ.
Major General Bin Brik briefed the attendees on the general political situation that the south is going through, the conspiracies it is exposed to daily by the opposition forces, whether at home or abroad, and the role of the Southern Transitional Council in achieving the aspirations of the southern people in restoring the full sovereignty of the southern state.
For their part, the attendees thanked Major General Bin Brik for his generosity and for informing them of what the leaders of the Southern Transitional Council are doing, and the fierce wars it is being exposed to at all levels, whether political, military, media, or service, with the purpose of which is to weaken the Transitional Council among the southern people, stressing that we, as southerners, have full faith in our southern cause.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly stressed that the coming days will bring many surprises, stressing the need to unite the ranks and exercise more restraint.
