On Sunday, Shuhada' Aljanoob Hall, in the city of Mukalla, hosted the founding meeting to announce the Supreme Military Authority of the Southern Army and Security Branch of Hadhramout Governorate, under the slogan "The Army and the People are One Hand", under the generous patronage of President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council.
In the meeting, which was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Mohammad Bamaalem, a member of the Presidium Council, Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, a member of the Presidium Council and the official spokesman for the Transitional Council, delivered a speech, congratulating the military and security personnel of Hadhramout for their founding meeting, conveying to them the greetings of President Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, President of the Transitional Council, , and Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Braik, Chairman of the National Assembly, Deputy President of the Presidium Council
Al-Kathiri stressed the importance of establishing this body in strengthening military and security efforts, and in extracting the rights of its members, which they have been denied for a long time, noting that the injustice affected all southerners, civilians, military and security personnel.
Al-Kathiri addressed the attendees, saying, you were the vanguard, so you were the first to confront the invasion of 94, then you were the flame, which ignited the peaceful revolution, you confronted the invasion of 2015, and you are still confronting the terrorists, adding that our army, which was demobilized, has returned, and the south has its fence that confronts the invaders.
Al-Kathiri stressed that Hadhramout was never absent or affiliated, but was always present, in defense of the south, pointing out that today the south is fighting many forces, which are intensifying their attempts to tear the social fabric, and have resorted to stirring up strife.
  Brigadier General Saeed Al-Muhammadi, Chairman of Hadhramout Transitional Council, expressed his solidarity with the military and security forces, pointing out that the Transitional Council stands by them until they take away their full rights, stressing that Hadhramout Valley will return soon, and that the south will win, thanks to the solidarity of its people and their high degree of awareness.
The program of the opening session of the meeting included two poems by the two popular poets, Obaid Banoubi and Salih Abdullah Bawazir, and a dramatic scene, titled ''A Red Line'', directed by Abdul Hadi al-Tamimi, which expressed the suffering of the southern military and security forces, as a result of their forced demobilization, after the invasion of the south.
