President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, met at his residence in Al-Mukalla with the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology Captain Saleh Bin Nahid.

President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by the Head of the General Authority of Civil Aviation on the status of the authority and its workflow, and the conditions of airports in the liberated governorates and their readiness. In this regard, President Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of operating Ataq and Al-Ghaydah airports to serve citizens in the governorates of Shabwa and Al-Mahra.

The meeting also discussed possible mechanisms for developing work in the Authority, qualifying its staff, modernizing navigational control systems at airports, and all the difficulties facing the Authority's work and ways to solve them.

Captain Bin Nahid expressed his thanks and gratitude for the positions of President Al-Zubaidi, and his permanent support for the Ministry of Transport and the leadership of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, and for overcoming the difficulties they face.
