The Chairman of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership Council in Abyan Governorate, Mr. Hassan Mansour Ghaythan Al-Kazmi, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Deputy Governor, Mr. Ahmed Nasser Jerfush, the service and security aspects in the governorate.

The meeting, attended by the Vice Chairman of the Body, Mr. Ali Sheikh Al-Suri, discussed enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between the Council and the local authority in the service and security aspects in the governorate.

The meeting touched on assessing the general health situation in the governorate and the level of medical services for patients amid the spread of the cholera epidemic in all districts, and the urgent need to unify efforts to control it.

Ghaythan and Al-Jerfush emphasized the need to enhance communication channels in order to strengthen community work to serve the citizen, meet their needs in the field of service and security projects, revive stalled projects, develop financial and economic resources, and the importance of fighting corruption and harnessing resources in the field of development and services.
