STC Assistant Secretary-General Gets Briefed on Key Activities of Al-Amal Association and the South Initiative for the Blind

Mr. Ahmed Mohammed al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), was briefed on Tuesday in the capital, Aden, on the key activities of Al-Amal (Hope) Association for the Blind and the South National Initiative for the Blind during his meeting with Ms. Naema Nasser Ali, Chairwoman of the association, and Mr. Mazen Ala'a, Head of the initiative.


In the meeting, Mr. Al-Shaqqi listened attentively to a comprehensive briefing on the practical programs implemented by the association and initiative and the positive impact they have on the lives of people with determination and special needs, lauding the efforts undertaken for this vital segment of society and emphasizing the need to support and strengthen work for this group and to assist them in their life journeys.


In turn, both the Chairwoman of the Al-Amal Association and the Head of the South National Initiative have highly commended the STC for its ongoing commitment to positive initiatives and its unwavering support for people with determination and special needs in all governorates of the South.
