CAC Bank Launches Workshop on Due Diligence and Account Opening Procedures

 The Cooperative Agricultural Credit Bank “CAC Bank” in Aden launched on Sunday, September 8, a workshop on due diligence and account opening procedures held in two periods, the first for customer service employees and the second for fund employees from various branches. It lasts for two days, four hours a day, and is presented by  Director of Compliance Department, Moeen Al-Zubairi. 

 The due diligence and account opening procedures workshop aims to raise employees’ awareness of enhanced due diligence procedures, in addition to raising awareness of account opening procedures, the importance of entering data correctly and completely into the banking system, and providing employees with indicators of suspicion and notification procedures for suspicious transactions. 

 Director of Compliance Department at CAC Bank, Moeen Al-Zubairi, stressed the importance of continuous training for the bank’s employees in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing, and explained that the bank pays great attention to this field, as it launched a series of specialized training workshops covering various aspects of combating financial crimes.

 Al-Zubairi added that these workshops come within a comprehensive training plan aimed at protecting the bank and enhancing its commitment to local legislation and international standards in the field of combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
