The United Nations Refugee Women's Organization (WRO) in the United Kingdom organized a celebration on March 8, World Women's Day in London, the capital of the United Kingdom.
The celebration was attended by a number of organizations and personalities active in the field of women's and human rights activities from various ethnic groups living in the United Kingdom, as well as a large number of women celebrating International Women's Day.
Al-Ahwaz Center for Human Rights participated in the celebration of the event, Kholoud Ali Al-Ahwazi stressed in her speech about the Iranian violations against the Ahwazi people in general and women in particular through the racist policies of the Iranian occupation practiced by the Iranian state for decades.
Kholoud Ali confirmed the arbitrary arrests of the Ahwazi woman, including the arrest of the child Shahid al-Amuri by the Iranian occupation authorities, who did not commit a crime and did not know about her fate since her arrest in early 2018.
Calling on the international community and world opinion to stop the racist violations in Ahwaz.
At the end of her speech, Comrade Khulood Ali responded to some of the audience's questions and thanked the organization for inviting the Center and also congratulated the 8th of March for all women in the world.
