Members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, Undersecretary of Aden the capital for Development Affairs, and Eng. Nizar Haitham, Head of the Executive Body of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, chaired, on Thursday, a joint meeting of the local authority and the Transitional Council local leadership of Aden the capital to implement the declaration of the state of emergency in the capital.
The meeting was attended by the heads of the executive bodies of the Transitional Council in the districts of the capital, Aden, and the directors general of the districts, and the head of the community committees, in which they discussed, evaluated and coordinated the efforts of the Transitional Council local leadership of Aden the capital with the local authority and the community committees.
During the meeting, which was held under the directives of Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Transitional Council, Al-Kaf and Haitham provided a clarification on the exceptional situation the capital is going through, and the need for concerted and coordinated efforts to preserve its security and living stability, in light of the declaration of the state of emergency in all provinces of the South.
The meeting resulted in the formation of joint committees from the leadership of the local authority, the local leadership of the council, the hygiene fund, police managers, and community committees in all districts of the capital, which are in a permanent state of meeting, in addition to the formation of operating rooms in all districts and linking them to the operations room of the capital’s general office.
The meeting also directed to assign the directors general of the districts to form and specify the names of members of the council committees and joint committees composed of the local authority and community committees in the districts, as well as the tasks assigned to them, and distribute them in the districts, and submit them to the leadership of the local authority.
