President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (LPC), met Wednesday with the Governor of Al-Bayda Governorate, Major General Nasser Al-Khidr Al-Sawadi.

During the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed by Al-Sawadi on the latest developments in the governorate, particularly concerning the dire humanitarian and living conditions citizens are enduring as a result of the ongoing conflict and violations perpetrated by Houthi militias against civilians.

President Al-Zubaidi praised the remarkable resilience and ultimate sacrifices of citizens of Al-Bayda in confronting the Houthi project, reaffirming the PLC's support for all efforts aimed at bolstering the governorate's stability and mitigating the suffering of its residents.

At the end of the meeting, Maj. Gen. Al-Sawadi expressed his appreciation for President Al-Zubaidi's interest in Al-Bayda Governorate and his commitment to supporting its people in the face of Houthi intransigence.
