The worshipers in the Great Jaar Mosque chose the “Haj Selim Mosque” after the Maghrib prayer today, Sunday, unanimously, and after the referendum through the loudspeaker in the mosque, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Ali Atef, Sheikh Ahmed Abdel Aziz and Dabi Basarda, to occupy the position of imam, preacher and deputy imam in the Great Jaar Mosque.

 This referendum came after the approval of the endowment office in the governorate and the mosque management committee, consisting of Sheikh Muhammad Ali Saleh Al-Wali, Hajj Muhammad Al-Shaibani and Sheikh Akram Al-Haj Salim Al-Subaihi.

 In the same context, he met earlier, the Director-General of the Abyan Endowments, the Mosque Committee, and a number of personalities and media professionals who had met with Professor Muhammad Al-Shaqi, head of the Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, to discuss the issue of the imam, the preacher and the deputy preacher.  .

 It is worth mentioning that the Jaar Mosque “Hajj Selim Mosque” has, over more than a century, preserved the moderate and moderate Shafi’i school of thought, far from extremism.
