Today, Sunday, the Executive Board of the Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate held its first periodic meeting for the month of December, headed by the Chairman of the Authority, Muhammad Ahmed Al-Shaqi, and in the presence of his deputy, Khaled Al-Abed.

 At the beginning of the meeting, Al-Shaqi stressed the importance of concerted efforts and establishing the rules of institutional work in various departments, believing in the importance of organizational work and its role in making qualitative shifts in the political and institutional work of the Transitional Council.

 The meeting reviewed the report submitted by the media department for the most prominent activities that were implemented during the past month in the governorate and directorates, and the efforts made by the departments through continuous coverage of all activities of local bodies.

 The meeting also discussed the report submitted by the Political Administration, which included an assessment of the political performance of the local leadership in a transitional executive, identifying strengths and weaknesses in performance, giving a picture of the most important difficulties and obstacles that hinder the effectiveness of political performance in the governorate, and a set of recommendations and proposals  them.
