Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Shaqi, Head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership in the Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate, discussed this morning with Mr. Mohsen Saleh Omar, President of the Southern Agricultural Cooperative Union in Abyan Governorate, arrangements for the convening of the founding conference of the Cooperative Union in the governorate, which is scheduled to be held in the next few days.  And in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board, Mr. Khaled Al-Abd, the Director of the Organizational Department, Mr. Abdullah Barhout, and the Director of the Political Department, Mr. Salem Saleh Al-Mukhairi.

 Al-Shaqi stressed the importance of preparing for the convening of the founding conference of the Southern Agricultural Cooperative Federation in Abyan Governorate, to restore the agricultural sector because of its importance at the strategic level and to achieve development.

 He stressed the importance of restoring the role of the Union, restoring its important role, and rebuilding the institutional structure of agricultural cooperatives to return to their previous era.

 Mr. Muhammad Al-Shaqi added that the leadership of the council in the governorate stands side by side with all the unions in the governorate, to strengthen its role, which was destroyed due to the systematic policy of the Yemeni occupation regime.
