The commander of the Southern Giants Brigades, Brigadier General Abu Zara’a al-Muharrami, announced the success of the first phase of the “Hurricane of the South” operation launched by the Giants Brigades to liberate the Asilan district in Shabwa governorate.

 This came after the Southern Giants Brigades defeated the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from the center of Asilan District and the surrounding areas.

 Dozens of Houthi militia members were killed by gunfire and artillery of the southern armed forces in Shabwa district.

 The Giants Brigades launched the "Cyclone of the South" operation this morning, to liberate all areas of the districts of Shabwa Governorate from the clutches of the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
