The Executive Board of the Southern Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate held its regular meeting this morning in the capital, Zanjabar, headed by Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Shaqi, head of the local leadership, and in the presence of the deputy, Mr. Khaled Al-Abd.

 Where the meeting was opened by Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Shaqi with a speech in which he welcomed all the attendees, thanking them for their commitment to the meeting date, professionally by the new year, calling for activating the activities of the departments in the governorate, stressing the importance of absorbing the new year’s plan with effective, positive and tangible activities, to keep pace with the main trends of the Transitional Council and work on translating  Announcement of the historical statement of Aden in accordance with a strategy through which the aspirations of the people of the south are achieved in restoring and building their southern state with full sovereignty.

 Professor Al-Shaqi reviewed the latest political and security developments in the southern arena in general and the governorate in particular, and the political and military movements.

 He praised the victory achieved by the Southern Giants Brigades in Shabwa Governorate and its purification of Houthi and Brotherhood militias.

 During the meeting, the meeting schedule was reviewed and approved. Then, the Director of the Organizational Department, Mr. Abdullah Barhout, presented a report on the annual achievement for the year 2021 AD, reviewing the draft plan of activities 2022 AD in the executive body and the local leadership of the directorates.

 Mr. Yasser Al-Salahi, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs, also reviewed the financial report for the fourth quarter, and it was approved, taking into account the comments received.

 The meeting touched on the developments on the southern arena and the victories achieved by the southern giants brigades in Shabwa governorate and the defeat of the Houthi and Brotherhood militias from the Asilan district.
