Mr. Muhammad Ahmed Al-Shaqi, Transitional Executive Chairman of Abyan, discussed this morning in his office the implementation of decisions to collect the resources of the Directorate of Zanjabar, with the Director General of the Directorate, Engineer Salem Akef Awad, in the presence of the Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board, Mr. Khaled Al-Abd.

 The meeting, which was attended by the Advisor to the Chairman of the Commission, Professor Doan Mansour, and Director of the Zanjabar Directorate Flags Office, Muhammad Saleh Abdul Rahman, discussed the procedures followed to implement the collection of the Directorate's resources.

 The Director General of the Directorate, Engineer Salem Akef, stated that measures will be taken to implement the decisions related to collecting transportation resources for Hassan point from this day, and receiving the point from the contractor by the Transportation Office and the Department of Financial Resources for Zanjabar.

 Stressing that the revenues will be supplied to the account of the local authority of the Zanjabar Directorate of the Central Bank, in an official and legal manner, and will be harnessed to implement service and development projects within the framework of the Zanzibar Directorate.

 For his part, the head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Abyan Governorate praised the efforts of the Director General of Zanjabar District and his quest for Zanjabar to obtain its financial resources.

 He stressed the need to take advantage of these resources for the benefit of the citizen and provide services that the citizen touches and contribute to lifting the directorate out of its miserable situation.
