Dr. Anis Luqman, Vice-President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, chaired today, Sunday, a meeting of the Assembly's Human Rights Committee.

 At the meeting, the committee’s work plan and activity during the current year 2022 AD, was discussed, where Dr. Abdullah Basheeb, head of the committee, gave an explanation about the field visits that the committee will approve in the coming days and through which.

 Basaheb noted that the committee will conduct a comprehensive survey of the activities of active civil society organizations in the capital, Aden, provided that the committee’s activity will be expanded to include the rest of the southern governorates, in the coming days.

  The meeting was attended by Ahmed Qassem, Director of the Office of the President of the National Assembly.
