The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, in its meeting held this morning, stood in front of the unfortunate events and irresponsible behavior that the Khor Maksar district witnessed in the capital, Aden yesterday, directed to quickly remove the security force present on Workers Island and refer all the elements involved in these events to the military judiciary.
The Presidency affirmed that these reckless individual actions will be met with a firm punitive action in accordance with the law, so that such behaviors that were exploited by the media hostile to our people, our cause, and the security and stability of the capital, Aden, would not be repeated.
In another context, the authority heard during the meeting a report submitted by the Supreme Economic Committee on the collection system approved by the committee, and the collection points approved by it.
On the other hand, the Presidency of the Council demanded, in its meeting, the Prime Minister of the Government of Participation, the speedy disbursement of the salaries of members of the Special Security Forces and their entitlements of food and fuel, similar to the other security units, reiterating its refusal to continue the arbitrary practices it pursues against one of the security units that perform its security role to the fullest despite scarcity of capabilities.
The Presidency, in its meeting, which was attended by a number of council ministers in the parity government, also discussed the services crisis in the capital, Aden, most notably the scarcity of oil derivatives and the lack of domestic gas, asking the parity government to assume its responsibilities in providing services.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Presidency discussed a number of issues on its agenda and took appropriate measures in this regard.
