The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General, member of the Presidency, and in the presence of Mr. Murad Al-Halimi, member of the Presidency of the Council, head of the Southern National Dialogue Team.
Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi welcomed the head of the external southern national dialogue team, praising the national role played by the team with southern figures and parties abroad for the higher interest of southerners and their future.
The head of the external Southern National Dialogue team expressed his happiness to be present at the meeting of the General Secretariat and to meet the heads of its departments, stressing the importance of the role of the Secretariat and its appreciation for the efforts it is making in the interest of the south, its cause and its people.
Al-Halimi gave a brief explanation of the process of the external southern national dialogue, its directions and basics, the most prominent issues discussed and the consensus that took place in the framework of the external southern dialogue, presenting a picture of the meetings held with southern leaders abroad and the results of those meetings.
The meeting reviewed the economic landscape report submitted by the Economic Department, which included the most prominent issues related to the economic south.
The meeting discussed the level of job discipline for the staff of the General Secretariat during the month of February of the current year 2022 AD. The meeting also discussed the weekly activity report of the Secretariat's departments and its most important achievements during the past week.
The meeting touched on a number of political, economic and service developments in the southern arena, in addition to the organizational and administrative issues of the departments of the General Secretariat and the executive bodies of local leaders in the governorates, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
