The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, in its meeting held today, Monday, headed by the Secretary-General of the Presidency, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, stood in front of the developments in the economic situation and the deterioration of services in the capital, Aden and all the governorates of the south, foremost of which are the fabricated crises by the parties that are desperate to obstruct the efforts of the government parity in an effort to thwart it.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by a number of council ministers in the parity government, the authority discussed the causes of the oil derivatives crisis, the lack of domestic gas, and the rise in food prices, as it listened to detailed reports presented by the council ministers in the government that summarized the most important causes of these crises that affect the life of the citizen. Which is fabricated by parties in power as a collective punishment to subjugate the southern people who reject starvation policies aimed at subjugating them and forging their will.
The authority also discussed with the council ministers in the government ways and mechanisms for dealing with these crises and addressing them to alleviate the suffering experienced by the citizen, renewing its demand for the equal government to carry out all its national responsibilities towards the citizen, foremost of which is providing services and paying salaries regularly, reviving the deteriorating economic situation, and taking urgent measures to stop The collapse in the currency and the rise in food prices in accordance with the requirements of the Riyadh Agreement.
The authority renewed its demand for the presidency of the government to assume its responsibilities in dealing with the electricity file and to speed up securing sufficient energy to face the coming summer, stressing that dealing with the electricity file falls on the government's shoulders and it must address it without procrastination or procrastination.
In this context, the Presidency praised the fraternal humanitarian support provided by the brothers in the coalition countries to rehabilitate the infrastructure in the capital, Aden, the latest of which was the funding of the sisterly United Arab Emirates 14 projects to rehabilitate the water and sanitation sector, which were launched by the governor of the capital yesterday.
In a separate context, the Presidency reviewed in its meeting the latest developments in the political situation at the regional and international levels, praising the efforts led by the President of the Council to deliver the cause of our people to the regional and international decision-making circles.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Presidency stood in reverence before the popular movements in Hadhramaut governorate, rejecting the Brotherhood’s military presence in the Valley and Sahara districts, and demanding the recovery of the deteriorating economic situation and the provision of services.
