 Today, Thursday, the National Southern Media Authority held its regular meeting chaired by Ali Al Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the National Media Authority.
 In its meeting, the commission discussed the arrangements for preparing for the conference of southern journalists and media professionals, the tasks of the preparatory committee, and setting the date for the start of its work.
 In its meeting, the commission confirmed that the conference aims to mobilize southern journalists and media professionals to participate in building media institutions, restoring the glare of the southern press and media, and defending the issues of southern journalists and media professionals in light of the union vacuum and the process of cultural erosion that has accumulated in the south over the past decades.
 The commission reviewed the activities of the radio and television sector, the press and modern media sector, the Southern Armed Forces Media Center, and the media department of the General Secretariat, stressing the need to activate all sectors and enhance their role in adopting the issues of our people and addressing systematic media campaigns targeting the south and its people and liquidating its cause.
