On Wednesday, June 8, the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting in the capital, Aden, headed by Mr. Fadl Muhammad al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting opened with a speech delivered by the Deputy Secretary-General, in which he briefed the attendees on the current political situation and the developments that have occurred.
Al-Jaadi stressed that "the Transitional Council entered an alliance with the aim of liberating the land and protecting its security."
The Deputy Secretary-General added: "If we want to move forward, we must set things straight away from political intrigues at the expense of our cause. We are partners in an alliance to end the coup taking place in Sanaa."
Al-Jaadi explained, "The battle today is political, economic, and service, and we focus on achieving service issues for people, and that the current media whirlwind does not concern us."
Al-Jaadi continued, "We are working calmly and wisely. Today, we are more powerful, will, determination and believe in the cause. What happened in 2015 is the best evidence. We won it with personal weapons, will and faith in the cause."
The Deputy Secretary-General concluded his speech by saying: "Seeking to revive the spirit of responsibility is the first to save time and effort."
The meeting reviewed the reports of the weekly activities of the departments of the General Secretariat and the political scene, the performance of the work of the public department, and the Department of Thought and Guidance for the first half of this year, as well as projects and activities to be held during the next week and the extent of readiness and readiness to implement them.
