Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Wednesday, June 8, the heads of the two local leaderships of the Transitional Council in the governorates of Hadramout and Socotra, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi and Raafat Ali Al-Thaqali.
In the meeting, they discussed the political and military situation after the Riyadh agreement and consultations, and the situation in the southern governorates in general, as well as the economic situation and its negative repercussions on the lives of citizens in the south.
For his part, Al-Thaqali conveyed to Major General Bin Brik the greetings of the people of Socotra, explaining to him the general situation there and the support it needs to develop the development process and investment in it.
Brigadier General Al-Mohammadi was also briefed on the marked deterioration in Hadhramaut governorate in all aspects, the most important of which is the service and economic aspect, which has exhausted the citizen and exacerbated his daily suffering.
Major General Bin Brik praised the activity of the two local leaders of the transitional in following up on citizens' issues, calling for more efforts to be made to improve the lives of citizens, stressing that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council spares no effort in developing the living standard of southerners and providing them with various services in cooperation and coordination with local leaders.
