Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council, met at the association's headquarters with the Executive Director of the Oil Company, Tariq Abdullah Mansour.

 The meeting, which included lawyer Niran Soghi, member of the Presidency and Vice President of the Association, discussed the difficulties facing the company in light of the economic changes and the situation of the local market, as well as the level of providing oil derivatives to the market and how to secure them and the rise in prices globally and their repercussions on the local market, which increased the burdens of the citizen in  the south in general.

 The meeting also discussed ways to secure the market, keep pace with prices globally, and the financial burdens added to it.

 For his part, Major General Ahmed Saeed stressed the need for everyone to cooperate in this aspect in order to alleviate the suffering of the people, who can no longer bear its weight, with the need to find some special facilities for customs and taxes for the purpose of reducing their currently exorbitant prices.

 The meeting was attended by Abdel Fattah Al-Abd, Advisor to the President of the Association, and Ahmed Qassem, Director of the Office of the President of the Association.
