President Al-Zubaidi briefed the Turkish brigade on the latest developments in Lahj Governorate

On Monday, June 20, at the council's headquarters in the capital, Aden, President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, Chairman of the Southern Transitional Council, met with the Governor of Lahj Governorate, Major General Ahmed Abdullah Al-Turki.
 In the meeting, which was attended by the Director of Lahj Security, Major General Saleh Al-Sayyid, and the Sheikh of the Sheikhs of Al-Sabiha Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Subaihi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Turkish Brigade listened to a full explanation of the latest developments in the Lahj governorate in general in all fields, and Al-Sabiha areas in particular.
 The Turkish Major General also reviewed, during the meeting, the great efforts made by the security services in Lahj governorate with its various formations, foremost of which are the Lahj security forces and the Security Belt forces in the Al-Sabiha sector, praising the great role played by the security services in the governorate to impose security and stability and control security imbalances.
 The Commander-in-Chief stressed the importance of stabilizing the security situation in the areas of Al-Sabiha, Tur Al-Baha, Ras Al-Ara and Bab Al-Mandab, because of their importance as the first line of defense for the south, against attempts to target it militarily and security, in addition to the strategic importance they represent as areas overlooking the south.  On one of the most important international shipping routes.
 The President noted the necessity of controlling all lawbreakers, intensifying security patrols in the Al-Sabiha and Bab al-Mandab areas, and joint coordination between the security services, to secure the main roads, rein in smugglers and bandits, and raise the vigilance and readiness of the military units stationed on the fronts to monitor and repel any attempts  hostile.
 The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Kamal Hamshary, Director of the Office of the President of the Southern Transitional Council, and Brigadier Faisal Muhammad Ali, Director of the Political Security Branch in Lahj Governorate.
