On Saturday, the second of July, the anti-terror forces, led by Colonel Abdul Rahman Al-Shenini, launched a large-scale military campaign to track down terrorist elements from Al-Qaeda in the Abyan Delta region.

 The anti-terrorist forces in Abyan governorate said that they tracked down terrorist elements in Wadi Sala, the eastern side of the governorate center, Wadi Bha’ath, Tamhan, Mrib, Thalan and Azaiba.

 Emphasizing that these terrorist elements have fled to the central region of the province.

 The campaign aims to establish security and stability in the governorate, because it is considered the eastern flank of the capital, Aden, and its security is part of the security of the capital.

 The commander of the anti-terror forces in Abyan, Colonel Al-Shinini, confirmed that the decisive confrontation has begun and he will not hesitate or hesitate to intensify the combat and security actions to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and terrorists wherever they are and wherever they hide, seek refuge or fortify themselves.

    He called on all the honorable people of Abyan and its tribes of all spectrums of society to stand with the heroes of the combat forces from the anti-terror units and the security and military forces in all their formations in the battle to purify Abyan from terrorist elements represented by the terrorist al-Qaeda in a comprehensive operation waged by our heroic forces.

 Al-Shenini pointed out that the security campaign will continue until security is fully established in the governorate, where he said: “We have given our blood to the pride and dignity of Abyan, and we renew the covenant to all the free people and its great and great history that we will remain the solid rock against which all conspiracies are broken.”

 Addressing the mothers and fathers of our heroic martyrs from the heroes of the security forces, the southern armed forces and the security belt in Abyan in particular and the south in general, our blood is not more precious than the blood of your children that these terrorist elements shed in cold blood throughout these years.
