 The head of the Gulf Peace and Security Forum, Dr. Fahd Al-Shulaimi, expressed his pride in the sacrifices of the people of the south in defeating the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, stressing that had it not been for the steadfastness and victory of Aden, the Iranian project would have continued.

 He said during a media meeting on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the liberation of Aden: "There is a great strategic importance for the capital of the south," explaining that "Aden's response to the terrorist Houthi aggression thwarted the Iranian plan."
