The National Southern Media Authority stresses the support and reactivation of media institutions

On Thursday, July 28, in the capital, Aden, the National Southern Media Authority held its periodic meeting headed by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the National Media Authority.
 In its meeting, the National Commission stood on the most prominent developments in the southern arena, foremost of which was the development and modernization of the structures of the Southern Transitional Council, and this leads to the strengthening of media work and the development of southern media with its multimedia, referring to the role of the Ministry of Information and its tasks that must be performed in reopening media institutions.  She stressed the need to provide support to these institutions, calling on the ministry to do everything that contributes to this.
 The meeting reviewed the reports of the activities of the sectors of the National Authority that were implemented in the past period, the level of achievement of tasks in them, and the practical plans for the third chapter that will be implemented during the current year 2022 AD.
 The meeting was briefed on the results of the visit of the Media Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council to the transitional media departments in Al-Dhalea Governorate, highlighting the most important observations documented by the department about the performance of media departments.
 In its meeting, the National Commission stressed the doubling of work efforts in all its sectors, stressing the continuation of pushing the southern media to progress, keeping pace with the stage and all developments in the south, and meeting its aspirations, reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
