President Commander Aidarous Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council, received at the Presidential Palace on Monday, September 5, a delegation of positions, leaders and social figures from Hadhramout Governorate.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President-Commander welcomed all those present, appretioning them to bear the long journey to reach the capital Aden, stressing that this reflects the extent of their love for their homeland and their devotion to their just national cause, and their great keenness to promote cohesion and southern alignment and communicate the demands and concerns of the people of Hadhramout and find solutions .

In the meeting, which was attended by Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, President of the National Assembly of the Transitional Council, and Fadi Hassan Ba'um, Head of the Political Bureau of the Supreme Council of the Revolutionary Movement, the President praised the great sacrifices made by the people of Hadhramout on the coast and valley in all stages that the south went through since before independence on November 30, 1967 , and their struggles in the southern liberation revolution from 1994  until today .

In the context of his speech, the President also praised the remarkable contributions of the sons of Hadhramout in establishing the foundations of institutional work in the southern state before 1990, and their prominent role in serving the national economy through large investments in infrastructure projects, and their commercial activity, which has been rooted in ancient times .

President Al-Zubaidi called on the sons of Hadhramout to increase cohesion and solidarity , strengthen unity and cohesion of the Hadhrami society, rally around the governor Bin Madi, and stand by him to prevent and thwart all conspiracies against Hadhramout in particular and the south in general.

President Al-Zubaidi concluded his speech stressing that Hadhramout was and will remain the beating heart of the south, its strategic depth, its economic and social Central, and its historical and civilizational heritage, and its sons will have the last word in everything related to their governorate administratively, militarily, security, coast and valley .

President Al-Zubaidi then listened to a brief explanation of the overall situation in Hadhramout Governorate in general, and the districts of the valley in particular, in addition to the total number of issues and demands, problems and concerns faced by the people of the Governorate and ways to solve them.  President Al-Zubaidi stressed that what was put forward will be the focus of the leadership's attention, promising those present to visit Hadhramout in the near future to get up close to the problems faced by the people of the province and work to solve them.

For their part, the attendees of the positions and leaders from Hadhramout blessed the efforts of President Aidarous Qasim al-Zubaidi, and the head of the Political Bureau of the Revolutionary Movement Council Fadi Hassan Ba'um to achieve southern reconciliation and tolerance, calling on the rest of the southern components to respond to the sincere call made by President Al-Zubaidi to rapprochement and cohesion to serve the people of the south and achieve their aspirations .

At the end of the meeting, the attendees expressed their thanks and appreciation for the special attention paid by President Al-Zubaidi to Hadhramout Governorate, and his continuous support for the empowerment of its people and their right to manage all the affairs of their governorate .
