The commander of Abyan Delta Security Belt Forces, Brigadier General Abdul Latif Al-Sayed, said that the southern armed forces will continue their military and security operations which aimed at purifying Abyan governorate in particular and the south in general from the presence of terrorist groups.

 

This came in a statement to the (Deraa Al-ganoob) website, today, Sunday, September 11, coinciding with the advance of the southern armed forces to the central districts of Abyan, as part of the Operation Arrows of the East to destroy the dens of terrorist groups .

Brigadier General Al-Sayed indicated that the deployment of the Security Belt forces backed by the southern forces from Abyan axis this morning in the central district, the deployment process will include the districts of (Lodar, Mudiyah, in addition to Khobar al-Maraqsha area and the border heights with Shabwa governorate).

 

He pointed out that the military operation, during which our southern armed forces were advanced, has witnessed clashes with al-Qaeda terrorist elements in Wadi Sri, adjacent to the Mojan Mountains, in the Khobar al-Maraqsha district.
