On Tuesday, September 27, the President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council paid an inspection visit to the National Southern Media Authority building in the city of Tawahi in the capital, Aden.

During the visit, President Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the progress of work in the authority and its affiliated sectors, in addition to the progress of work in the media center of the southern armed forces, and the efforts being made to keep pace with the field developments and highlight the achievements of the heroes of the southern armed forces within the operations '' Arrows of the East '' and '' Arrows of the South'' , to purify the two governorates Abyan and Shabwa from are terrorist elements.

On the sidelines of the visit, President Al-Zubaidi chaired a meeting for the presidency of the Preparatory Committee for the Conference of Southern Journalists and Media Professionals , where he was briefed from the presidency of the Committee on the level of achievement achieved in preparing for the first conference of Southern journalists and media professionals to be held in the near future.

President Al-Zubaidi stressed during the meeting that the leadership of the Transitional Council will spare no effort to support  the efforts of the National Media Authority to produce the conference with fruitful results that serve the reality of the southern media, and triumph for all southern journalists and media professionals, and enhance their presence internally and externally so that they can serve their national cause, and achieve the legitimate and just demands of the people of the south in n restoring and building its state on its entire national soil with its internationally recognized borders until May 21, 1990 .
