President Commander Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Financial Resources, confirmed that the Presidential Leadership Council and the Parity Government, with the support of the brothers in the Arab coalition countries, are fighting a fateful battle to revive the country's economy.

This came in an important meeting held today, Sunday, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with the economic team headed by Mr. Hossam Al-Sharjabi, where President Al-Zubaidi stressed the need to redouble efforts to assist the Leadership Council in its efforts to revive the collapsed economy and stop the deterioration of the local currency exchange rate.

President Al-Zubaidi noted that the battle of the Presidential Leadership Council for Economic Recovery is a fateful battle, and is not different from the battle that our people are waging with the Iranian-backed terrorist Houthi militia.

During the meeting, the President Commander directed the economic team to work on two main tracks, a fast track to stop the collapse of the local currency exchange rate, by enhancing revenues, rationalizing spending, developing financial and administrative systems in revenue institutions and rehabilitating their cadres, activating regulatory agencies and enhancing transparency, combating corruption, and developing Financial and monetary policies, controlling and regulating the work of exchange companies and intensifying supervision over them, and the path of sustainable solutions by working to inaugurate major investment projects in vital economic sectors, and preparing deep strategic economic studies that contribute to a real economic recovery touched by the citizen.

The President was briefed by the economic team on the team's workflow mechanism, the efforts made to accommodate the brothers' pledges to support the national economy, the team's efforts to mobilize donor support for our country, and the preparation of studies and consultations necessary for economic recovery.

In turn, the team leader and its members expressed their thanks and gratitude for the great support provided by the Presidential Leadership Council to the team, and the keenness it attaches to overcoming the difficulties that hinder its work, stressing that the team relies a lot on President Al-Zubaidi's support as the head of the Higher Committee for Resources.
